Sevafast was born from the problems faced by small business restaurant and café owner under Covid-19 pandemic. Towards the early of 2020, Masala Dosa Street Kitchen (Owner) Dharma had taken an opportunity to take his restaurant business to another level in COVID-19 situation.


Most restaurant were open for Dine-in with physical menu cards & depended on third party Deliveries. Where as the only restaurant in Cambodia eliminated all these factors and composed his business for future, Masala Dosa Street Kitchen removed menu cards adopted online ordering solutions with QR codes on Table, offering Pick-ups & own deliveries with Sevafast.


Dharma realized biggest trends coming into the food industry which is online ordering & digital payments. However, all the existing widespread solutions in Cambodia is a nightmare for restaurant and café owners.

The Problem With Online Ordering Marketplaces in Cambodia


Currently, the main players in the online ordering space for food service businesses run off a marketplace business model. This means that they provide a platform for you to put your menu online which they often do it free of charge. They then promote store through their marketing campaigns in order to generate orders. In turn, they take a hefty % base fee nothing less than 15% & upwards, some marketplaces even holds the restaurant payments for 2 to 3 weeks.


There are major 2 critical drawback with this model. First the obvious one is restaurant lose a large amount of profit from these orders. To be precise restaurant industry is by far one of the most competitive industries.
